MY TY WEEK - Tammi Strickland (16), Mount Sackville School, Dublin 20‘TRANSITION YEAR has given me a little bit more time to explore my own projects. I’m working on a modernised version of Romeo and Juliet and I’ve also set up my own little web business.
“We studied Romeo and Juliet in third year, but a lot of people found it difficult to understand the English. I’m writing a version in the form of a rap. As well as the rap, I’m composing and writing music for the play. I’d love to get it published so people might better remember and understand the play.
