Family members have been holding regular vigils at the site since.
They have also called for an end to cheap drink promotions in the wake of Mr Murphy’s death.
A PSNI spokesman said: “Police divers have recovered the body of a man from the River Lagan this afternoon. The family of Joby Murphy have been notified, however formal identification of the body has not yet taken place.”
