A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the discovery of counterfeit goods worth an estimated €40,000.
The seizure was made at a house in Knocklyon, Dublin 16 this morning.
The goods seized include counterfeit Apple iPods and iPhones, Nintento DS Games, and Microsoft Office Excel and Norton Security software.
This investigation is linked to the sale and distribution of counterfeit goods via the internet through various websites.
The man, who was arrested at the house in Knocklyon, is currently being held at Raheny Garda station under Section 4 Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Investigations into the counterfeit operation are continuing.
