Wed 03 Mar 2010New HBO series to be filmed in North
US broadcaster HBO is to begin filming fantasy adventure series Game of Thrones in Belfast this June.
The pilot has already been filmed at locations around the city. Another nine programmes based on the first book of George RR Martin’s multi-volume A Song of Fire and Ice series have been commissioned.
