The Irish music industry dons its glad rags tonight for the Meteor Ireland Music Awards in Dublin, with U2 expected to dominate the awards after being nominated in three categories.

Battling out for the Best Irish Band award are Bell X1, The Coronas, Delorentos, Snow Patrol, and U2, who are also in the running for Best Irish Album, for No Line on the Horizon.
