Pharmaceutical company QM Specials is to create 50 new jobs in Co Waterford, it announced today.
The Lismore-based company has been granted a licence by the Irish Medicines Board in a joint-venture between Akram Hanna, a Lismore-based pharmacist and the UK-based pharmaceutical manufacturer Quantum Specials.
The company will produce hand-made medicines designed for specific patients which may not be usually available from a typical supply chain.
The jobs will be created over the next two years in Lismore.
