Man stabbed to death in Co Wicklow

Gardaí are investigating an incident in which a man was stabbed to death in Co Wicklow.

The man, who was in his mid-40s, died at about 8pm at a shop on Coolgreany Road in Arklow. It is believed he sustained a stab wound, and he died at the scene.

The scene has been preserved and the services of the State Pathologist have been requested.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed anything to contact them at Arklow or WIcklow Garda stations.
