Gardaí have arrested two women for suspected brothel-keeping after a raid on an apartment in Dublin this evening.

The women, both in their 20s and from Eastern European, were arrested in the planned operation in Blanchardstown. They are being held at Finglas and Cabra Garda stations under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act.

Gardaí said the operation is ongoing.
