Three arrested over people trafficking
Three people were arrested yesterday following a Garda operation in connection in an investigation into human trafficking.
A man (52) is still in custody at Manorhamilton Garda station after he was arrested in Sligo yesterday morning on suspicion of breaching Section 3 Criminal Law (Human Trafficking) Act 2008.
A woman (33) arrested in Dublin yesterday morning was released last night following questioning at Coolock Garda station.
A second man (53) who was arrested in Sligo yesterday morning for a suspected breach of Section 3 Criminal Law (Human Trafficking) Act 2008 was released from Carrick-on-Shannon Garda station this morning.
