Man arrested over arms haul

A man in his 30s has been arrested following the seizure of guns and ammunition at a house in Limerick city.

Two pistols, a stun gun and a quantity of ammunition were recovered during the planned search of the house in the east of the city this afternoon.

The man currently being detained at Roxboro Road Garda Station under Section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act.
