Thousands of pounds worth of jewellery and souvenirs were stolen in a burglary at a gift shop at the Giant’s Causeway in Co Antrim, it emerged last night.
Thieves broke into the shop at the famous Co Antrim site between 7pm on Tuesday and 9.40am on Wednesday, though details were only released by police last night.
The gang gained entry through a rear window and stole a large amount of Celtic gold jewellery and souvenirs.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
