Man killed in Louth road crash
A man (29) has been killed in a single-vehicle crash in Co Louth.
The crash occurred at Drumcar, Dunleer, shortly before 1am. The deceased, who was driving the car, died soon after the crash.
A passenger was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda with minor injuries. The road between Cloghan Bridge to Drumcar remains closed pending a forensic examination by gardaí.
Elsewhere, three men were cut free from a car which crashed into a house in on Harbour Rush, Co Dublin at 3am.
Two of the men, who are in their mid-20s, are described as being critical but stable in Dublin’s Beaumont Hospital.
A third man, in his 30s, is in a stable condition. All three are from Latvia.
