Tesco has said it will extend price cuts on Irish products to its stores the Dublin area after the plan went “extremely well” in stores close to the Border with Northern Ireland.

The retailer is to make the announcement later today but took out full page advertisements in newspapers this morning saying that price adjustments made in Border shops would be extended to nine Dublin outlets.
