Tesco Ireland has recalled all its 567g cans of Value Beans and Sausage after pieces of plastic were found in a number of cans.
In a statement released this morning the company asked customers who have bought the product to return them to their local store for a full refund.
“The recall is a precautionary measure due to pieces of plastic from the production line being found in a small number of cans,” the company said . “No other Tesco products sold in Ireland are affected by this recall.”
It has advised customers with any further concerns to contact its customer care line on 1800 248 123.
