Online directory to create 50 jobs
An online business directory is creating 50 jobs across the country.
Whatswhat.ie boasts more than 60,000 companies and the site claims 4,000 visitors each day.
Founded in 2002, it helps businesses promote themselves online by listing their company details and web address.
Finance director Sian Phillips said: “More and more people are using the internet to shop around.”
Ms Phillips claimed the website is a popular tool for the consumer looking for value for money during recessionary times.
Co Wicklow-based businesswoman Barbara Gordon set Whatswhat.ie up seven years ago to help Irish businesses develop a presence on the Internet.
