Man (25) charged over death of Estonian man
A 25-year-old man has been charged over the death of an Estonian man who was pulled from his parked car and beaten to death near Dublin airport in 2007.
Valeri Ranert (28) was attacked by a number of men as he sat in a parked car with his girlfriend in a lay-by at Naul Road, Forrest Little, Swords, Co Dublin on April 30th 2007.
He died at Beaumont Hospital later that night from injuries sustained in the attack.
His car was taken and used by his attackers in their getaway.
A total of four arrests were made in relation to the assault. The 25-year-old man charged at Swords District Court yesterday is the second man to be charged in relation to Mr Ranert's death.
