Woman pedestrian killed in Kerry crash

A woman has died after being knocked down in Co Kerry last night.

The woman, who was in her 40s, was hit by at least one car on the main Tralee to Listowel Road at around 5pm.
Her body was taken to Kerry General Hospital where a postmortem will be carried out.

Gardai have appealed to road users who may have been on the road between 4.45 and 5.30 to contact them at Tralee Garda station at 066 7122022.
