Arson attack damages Blarney Garda station
Blarney Garda station has been left badly damaged after an arson attack early this morning.
Firecrews were called to the scene in the Co Cork town at around 5.00am today after the alarm was raised.
The front door of the station had been forced open. It is understood a petrol bomb was used to set the station, which was unoccupied, ablaze.
The fire was extinguished and there were no injuries reported.
Gardai are trying to establish a motive for the attack.
