Man questioned after Galway stabbing
Gardaí are today questioning a man (32) following a stabbing in Galway city this morning.
The victim is said to be in a stable condition in hospital following the early morning attack in the Claremont Park estate in west Galway in which he suffered a stab wound.
A man was subsequently arrested in the city and is being questioned in Mill Street Garda station.
Gardaí carried out a forensic examination of the attack area and a house earlier today. They have also appealed for witnesses.
