CRH appoints group finance director

Building material group CRH has announced it has appointed Glenn Culpepper as group finance director designate.

He will replace Myles Lee, who is taking over as chief executive when Liam O'Mahony retires. Mr Culpepper, who has worked with CRH since 1989, is the current chief financial officer of CRH’s Americas Materials Division.

He will take up his new position in Dublin in January.

CRH's shares were trading up on the Dublin market this morning, gaining 2.1 per cent to €18.55 by 10.30am.
