Gardai in Waterford are investigating an incident in which a shot was fired through the kitchen window of a house in the city early this morning.
The incident happened at around 12.10am at a house in Crystal Court in Kilcohan Park. Two adults and eight children were in the house at the time. All escaped injury.
The scene has been preserved for technical examination.
Gardai are appealing for anyone with any information about the incident to contact them.
