Offaly Tomorrow and Sunday, The Irish Game and Country Fair takes place at Birr Castle and showcases country sports and rural living. Admission is €15 for adults and €5 for children. irishgameandcountryfair.com

Carlow

On Sunday A Taste of Carlow takes place, celebrating artisan and other foods from around the county. The event is free and begins at 1pm. Entertainment, cooking demonstrations and over 40 food and craft stands included. See carlowtourism.com

Dublin

The Kilmainham Arts Festival runs this weekend and includes free workshops at IMMA tomorrow from 12-4pm, as well as a children’s fun day on Sunday with face painting and drumming workshops. See kilmainhamartsclub.com

Armagh

Charles Wood Summer School for singers, organists and choir directors, ends on Sunday. Events include a singer’s concert tomorrow at 12pm, and a sung mass at 7pm. charleswoodsummerschool.org

Mayo

The garden of the former Provincial Bank building on Pearse Street in Ballina will host an open day on Sunday. The walled Victorian garden has been fully restored and entertainment will also be provided.
