Three held over Tipperary murder
Gardaí have tonight arrested three more men in their investigation into the murder of Shane Rossiter last October.
Mr Rossiter (30), who was originally from Clonmel, was shot in the stomach after he went to answer a knock at the door of the house he was sharing with his girlfriend at Church Lane in Golden, near Cashel, at about 6.45am on October 17th last.
Six of the seven people arrested on Monday also remain in garda custody as part of the investigation. One of the men arrested was released without charge earlier today.
The three new men arrested, who range in age from late 20s to early 40s, were picked up by gardaí in the Tipperary area.
All of those currently under arrest are being detained in various Garda stations in Tipperary and investigations are ongoing.
Shane Rossiter's death was the second major tragedy for the Rossiter family in the past 10 years. In 2002 his brother Brian died in Garda custody in Clonmel aged 14 years.
