What happens when you’ve been asleep for a century? A lot, it seems. While Rayman, Globox and the Teensies have been snoozing, the Bubble Dreamer’s nightmares have grown in strength. So much so that they’ve captured the princesses, leading to Murfy waking Rayman to inform him of the terrible turn of events. It’s up to Rayman & co to help fight off the nightmares and return the Glade of Dreams to its former glory. Rayman Legends has beautiful animations and levels, making it a colourful change from some of the darker games out there. Above all, it’s fun and it makes full use of the PS Vita’s extra controls, such as the gyroscope. The Vita version was missing some levels at launch (the Invasion mode levels) but Ubisoft has promised the content will be delivered at a later date via a patch. So while it may be a source of some frustration now, it’s something to look forward to.
