Adams attacks Flanagan over Northern Ireland peace talks

Sinn Féin leader Gerry Adams said today the Irish Government needs to "lift its game" in relation to the Northern Ireland peace process.

He strongly criticised Minister for Foreign Affairs Charlie Flanagan at the start of the second day of his party's think-in in Termonfeckin, Co Louth this morning.

Mr Adams claimed Mr Flanagan was motivated by electoral politics in the Republic rather than his duty to uphold the Belfast Agreement.
