Petrol bomb attack on accountancy firm's offices

The offices of an accountancy firm in Co Donegal have been petrol bombed.

The incident happened at the offices of Farren-Roarty auditors and accountants in Letterkenny.

It is understood that the company has been acting as a receiver in a number of high-profile cases.

Staff arrived for work at the premises on Thorn Road on Wednesday to find the gates of the premises locked.

A Garda patrol car was at the scene of the incident and staff were told to go home.

Gardaí have decline to comment on the the possible reasons for the blaze.

Workmen as well as company partner Séamus Farren were at the scene yesterday afternoon.

Mr Farren declined to comment on the incident.

A number of windows in the premises have been boarded up.
