Motorcyclist dies in Tipperary crash
A motorcyclist in his 20s has been killed in a crash in Co Tipperary.
Gardaí are investigating after the bike collided with a car on the N65 ( Portumna Road) at the junction near Killeen outside Borrisokane at about 12.30pm. The driver of the car was uninjured, a Garda spokesman said.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene and his body was removed to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick. Diversions are in place as the road is currently closed for a technical examination.
Gardaí at Borrisokane are seeking witnesses.
