Two men arrested and questioned in connection with the murder of a man at his brother's wedding in Bunratty, Co Clare have been released without charge.

Robert Sheehan (21), from Moyross, Limerick, was shot in the head and body outside the entrance to Bunratty Castle Hotel on September 2nd while his family celebrated inside. He died the following day at the Mid-Western Regional Hospital in Limerick.

Gardaí investigating Mr Sheehan's death today released without charge the two men later arrested in Cork in connection with the investigation, a Garda spokesman said.

A file will now be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
