A man has died and two are being treated in hospital following a single vehicle crash in Co Westmeath.
The crash occurred on the Mullingar to Killucan road at about noon. Three men were taken to the Midland Regional Hospitals in Mullingar and Tullamore, with two said to be in a critical condition.
One man aged in his late 20s was later pronounced dead at the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore.
Traffic diversions are in place while a Garda forensic team examines the scene of the crash.
