A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a collision between a bus and a motorcycle in Co Offaly this afternoon.
The accident occurred on the Birr to Banagher Road at around 2.30pm.
The motorcyclist, who is in his 30s, was taken to the Midland Regional Hospital in Tullamore with what gardaí are describing as serious injuries.
Nobody else was injured in the collision. It is understood the bus was carrying young children to a sporting event.
Diversions are in place and gardaí have sealed off the scene while forensic examinations are being carried out.
