It's va-va voom for supercar fans

MOTORING FANS will be treated to the sight of some 150 supercars as they continue their convoy on a three-day scenic road trip around Ireland this weekend, raising funds for charity.

Following a stopover in Belfast last night after leaving Dublin, day two of the Cannonball Run gets under way in Belfast at 10.30am.

The cars will travel through Enniskillen, Sligo town and Claremorris, before arriving at Quay Street in Galway city at approximately 6pm.

Participants are scheduled to leave Galway at 11am tomorrow for the final day of the event.

The convoy will travel through Gort, Limerick city, Cashel and Urlingford before eventually arriving at The Parade in Kilkenny city at approximately 4.30pm.
