Sunny weather here to stay with Dublin set to reach 29 degrees

The sunny weather is set to continue through Tuesday and into Wednesday, reaching 29 degrees in Dublin tomorrow, according to Met Éireann.

Today is set to be slightly cooler than Monday and last weekend, but still very warm with temperatures of between 22 and 26 degrees.

The capital will see temperatures of between 17 and 22 degrees on Tuesday, as a sea breeze and some wind is expected to make the coast slightly cooler than the rest of the county.

Temperatures in Dublin will be the highest in the country on Wednesday, reaching 29 degrees. Temperatures in other parts of Leinster are also expected to be around 26 to 29 degrees.

Tomorrow will likely be the hottest day of the week, as Met Éireann’s five-day forecast for later in the week shows average temperatures coming down to between 17 and 20 degrees throughout the country.

Most of the country is set to enjoy the same sunny weather on Wednesday as the Leinster and Dublin region.

Counties in Munster will have warm and humid weather with small patches of clouds overhead, and temperatures are expected to hit around 26 degrees.

The west of Ireland and Connacht will see the same humid and hazy sunshine, with slightly stronger winds and breeze coming across from the Atlantic ocean.

Top temperatures in the province are anticipated to hit 27 degrees, and the lowest in some places is expected to be around 23 degrees.

Met Éireann has said the dry and sunny weather will cause be a large increase in grass and weed pollen in the air, meaning hayfever sufferers may see their symptoms flare up this week.

The weather forecast warns the excellent sunny spells will begin to drop off after Wednesday, with Thursday and Friday to be dry but slightly cooler.

Saturday is anticipated to be breezy and dry, with temperatures between 14 and 18 degrees nationwide.

Initially Met Éireann has predicted that rain showers will hold off for most of the week, but has said some patches of cloud may bring small showers here and there from Thursday.
