Garda inquire whether body may be of homeless man who fell from roof

Gardaí are investigating whether the body of a man found in a garden in Clondalkin was that of a homeless man who fell from the roof of a boarded-up property while trying to gain access to it.

The body of the man, aged in his mid-30s to early 40s, was found to the rear of the house at Station Road, Clondalkin at about 9.30pm on Monday night.

The vacant house has its windows and doors boarded up with wood and metal sheeting.

Locals said similar boarded-up properties in the area have been accessed through the roofs by homeless people.
