Gardai are concerned for the welfare of a 14-year-old girl who is missing from Clondalkin since Monday.

They have appealed for public assistance in tracing Catherine Hayes Rice who was last seen in the Dublin suburb at about 1pm on Monday.

Gardai have described her as 5ft 7in tall with long brown hair (with blonde streaks), blue eyes and of slim build.

When last scen the teenager was wearing a white belly top, blue jeans and pink, white and blue runners.
