Gardaí expect to conclude their investigation shortly into the murders of two men gunned down in a gangland feud, Dublin Coroner’s Court has heard.

At the opening of the inquests into the deaths of Andrew Barry (31), Rochford Avenue, Kilcock, Co Kildare, and Zilvinas Varnaukas (30), Brookdale Drive, Swords, gardaí sought a six-month adjournment to allow time to complete their investigation.

Mr Barry and Mr Varnaukas were killed following a shooting incident at Mr Barry’s home on March 6th.

Mr Varnaukas, a Lithuanian national, had been living in Ireland for nine years.
