Man dies following workplace incident in Co Kildare

A man in his mid-40s has died following a workplace incident at the distribution centre of a business park in Naas, Co Kildare, in the early hours of Friday.

The man was reportedly hit by a truck in the business park at about 2.30am on Friday. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Health and Safety Authority (HSA) and local coroner were notified about the incident and the man’s body was brought to Naas General Hospital.

A HSA investigation into the incident is ongoing.
