Special delivery:Delivering A Special Wish is a documentary on TV3 at 8pm tonight on the aid convoy journey from Ireland to children’s homes in Skuodas in northern Lithuania. The 10-lorry column delivered medical supplies, bedding and toys to the homes, 200km north of Vilnius.

Mind your head:The Union of Students in Ireland and Acquired Brain Injury Ireland are appealing to people to “Mind their Heads” this Christmas.

“This time of year people are drinking more, often leaving themselves defenceless to an alcohol-related fall or an unprovoked assault.

“A brain injury can happen from the simplest incidents, and to anyone, at any time or in any place,” says Barbara O’Connell, chief executive of Brain Injury Ireland.

Free meditation:The Living Room Centre for Silence and Community on Clarendon St, Dublin is offering free meditation from 8am-8.45am and 1pm-2pm today, tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. The meditations aim to offer spiritual solace to those alienated from the hype, fuss and chaos this season can sometimes bring. The centre reopens on January 16th.
