Guy Hedgecoe is a journalist and broadcaster based in Madrid. He reports on all Spanish news issues, from the country’s economic crisis to Catalan separatism and the changing sound of flamenco music. Formerly editor of the English edition of El País newspaper, he has covered Spain for RTÉ, the BBC and Al Jazeera, among others.
