Four people have been arrested following the reported abduction of a man in Ballycastle, Co Antrim.

The 18-year-old victim is believed to have been abducted yesterday and a demand for money was made.

The teenager later made his way to a police station in Belfast. No money was handed over.

Police stopped a car on the outskirts of Antrim last night and arrested three women - aged 16, 18 and 42 - and a 21-year-old man.

They are being questioned at the Serious Crime Suite in Antrim police station.
