Emergency services spent up to an hour attempting to free a driver whose car overturned at the entrance to Terminal 1 in Dublin Aiport this morning.

Members of Dublin Airport Fire Service, Dublin Fire Brigade and Dublin Airport Police attended the scene shortly of the accident shorlty after 8.30am this morning.

The driver was eventually released from the vehicle and taken to Beaumont hospital with leg injuries.

A number of diversions were in place during the incident but traffic is now reported to be returning to normal.
