Woman (26) due in court in connection with Drogheda house fire

A 26-year-old woman is due before Trim District Court today connection with a suspicious house fire in Co Louth over the weekend.

She was arrested by gardaí in Drogheda on Sunday evening.

A woman in her 70s suffered serious injuries during the fire at Cord Rd, Drogheda in the early hours of Saturday morning.

She remains in a serious condition in hospital.

Three men questioned in connection with the incident were released without charge on Sunday night.
