Second man arrested after shots fired at Limerick home

Gardaí have arrested a second man following a shooting incident at a house in Co Limerick last night. The 20-year-old was arrested shortly after midnight and is being detained at Roxboro Garda station.

Gardaí in Limerick arrested another man yesterday evening after shots were fired at a house on New Road, Thomond Gate at approximately 7.40pm.

There was a woman (22) and two male teenagers in the house at the time, but no one was injured.

A motor cycle was observed leaving the scene and gardaí arrested a man in his early twenties nearby. He was taken to Mayorstone Garda station where he is being detained under the provisions of section 30 of the Offences Against the State Act 1939 as amended.
