Gardaí appeal for help locating man sought in UK over rape

An 18-year-old wanted on suspicion of rape in the UK is being sought in Ireland.

Gardaí have issued an appeal for information on Ryan Humpage who was the subject of a Crimewatch UK broadcast by detectives in Lancashire.

Police want to question him in connection with rape, theft and assault allegations.

The teenager travelled to Ireland in recent weeks and was in Co Kildare last week.

He is also believed to have been in Co Sligo recently and may be using various aliases, which include Dylan Dunne, Ryan Willington, Ryan Williams and Karl Ward, gardai said.

He is known to travel around the UK and has friends in Belfast, Scotland, Blackpool, Northumbria and Northamptonshire.
