The two brothers who were found dead in the boot of their father’s car on Monday are reposing at their home in Co Carlow today.
The bodies of Eoghan (10) and Ruairí Chada (5) were released to their mother last night following postmortem at Mayo General Hospital on Tuesday by Deputy State Pathologist Dr Khalid Jabbar.
Their funeral will be held tomorrow at 1pm in St Lazarian’s Church, Ballinkillen, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
Their father, Sanjeev Chada, left the family home with his sons on Sunday evening to go bowling in Carlow. They did not return home.
Mr Chada is still being questioned by gardai. He was arrested just before 12.30pm yesterday immediately on his discharge from Mayo General Hospital where he had been treated for injuries sustained in the crash.
