Young Irish designers including JW Anderson and Sorcha O’Raghallaigh will be showing their work at Create 2012, a specially curated exhibition which runs at Brown Thomas in Dublin until September 9th.

The exhibition will feature the work of 10 new and established Irish designers working across fashion, millinery, jewellery and textile design.

The initiative is a collaboration between Brown Thomas fashion director Shelly Corkery and the chairman of the Council of Fashion Designers, Eddie Shanahan, who have curated the collection to demonstrate the depth and breadth of design talent in Ireland.

Along with O’Raghallaigh, who was chosen as one of Selfridges’ Bright Young Things, and Anderson, who has created a line for Topshop, the eight other designers exhibiting at the Grafton Street store are Rebecca Marsden, Riona Treacy, Natalie B Coleman, Lisa Ryder, Mark T Burke, Lisa Shawgi, Lorna Burton and Rainbow Winters.
