Fatboy lounger, planet friendly lamp and one to watch out for

1 Lamzac Hangout Dutch brand Fatboy is best known for bean bags and dog beds. Its new Lamzac Hangout, a cross between a pop-up sofa and an inflatable bean bag, may soon be the must-have item for campers and festival-goers. It's made from tough rip-stop nylon. You scoop the air into it like a wind sock and use the roll-top to seal it up. No pumping, no puffing. It's washable and packs away into its own bag. €70 from fatboy.com

2 BioLite PowerLight Mini BioLite offers an array of planet-friendly gadgets for travellers and the outdoors life. The PowerLight Mini is a slim, rechargeable lamp about the size of a phone. It juices up via USB, giving out more than 50 hours illumination on a low power setting, or you can also use it as a portable power backup for other mobile devices. An integrated clip means it can work self-standing, as a bike light or head torch. €50 from bioliteenergy.com

3 Garmin Tactix Bravo With all the free navigational apps on the smartphone, it's probably no surprise that Garmin is keeping its hand firmly in the smartwatch market. The Tactix Bravo has everything its Fenix 3 watch has, and a bit more. As well as the regular ABC functions and GPS, it's got a Jumpmaster setting for parachuting, and can display two sets of co-ordinates on-screen simultaneously. £550/€692 from garmin.com
