The latest and best in travel accessories

Griffin Skyview
Conjure up your own in-flight entertainment with Skyview, a multi-device holder from Griffin, makers of all types of personal electronics accessories. The Skyview will attach to the seat-back table clips on most airplanes and you can fix most smartphones, tablets and readers into its front grip for a hands-free screen to watch movies or read on. The viewing angle is adjustable and it'll also work as free-standing player support on the table itself. $20 from griffintechnology.com

Timbuk2 Blue Bottle Travel Coffee Kit
Any right-on, San Francisco-based, hip bag brand worth its beans would want to do travel coffee properly. Cue this Timbuk2 coffee kit. Partnering Blue Bottle Coffee (unfortunately its included discount card mightn't be useful over here), this is all old-school charm: a leather-trimmed waxed canvas bag holds a pair of enamel mugs with insulated holders (called zarfs apparently), a flask, a mini hand grinder and a sample of Blue Bottle coffee. The filters are compost-friendly hemp needless to say. $179, see timbuk2.com

OtterBox Resurgence Power Case
OtterBox are popular smartphone cases for most major brands, though its Resurgence Power series is only for Apple right now. Offering the familiar high-rating drop protection with a two-piece fibreglass-filled polycarbonate shell, Resurgence cases also have an integrated 2,000mAh battery pack, doubling your iPhone's power. An LED display shows the case's reserve and it recharges by its own micro USB. But it'll still likely be banjaxed (technical word) if you drop yours in the loo. € 100 from otterbox.ie; available for 5, 5s and 6.
