Ballybunion seaweed festival

Ballybunion Seaweed Festival, June 6th, aims to make the Mouth of the Shannon a prime destination on the Wild Atlantic Way, celebrating both the wonders of seaweed and the rich shared history between Loop Head and the North Kerry coastal villages. The folk from Co Clare's Dolphin Watch will bring visitors on a cruise from Ballylongford Harbour into the Estuary looking for dolphins and perusing the spectacular Ballybunion cliffs and caves before returning to Ballylongford for sunset. There'll be musicians from both water-divided counties and seafood from Carrigaholt's award-winning Long Dock. www.dolphinwatch.ie
