Skoda’s sales rise by 25%

Five new dealerships help Skoda Ireland boost activity

Skoda has dramatically expanded its sales in Ireland, with sales rising 25 per cent in the first half of 2014, compared to the same period in 2013. Skoda has shifted 4,426 vehicles so far this year, giving it a 6.75 per cent market share. Skoda Ireland is attributing much of that growth to the opening of five new dealerships as well as its access to finance through the Volkswagen Bank – Skoda has provided new and used vehicle loans to the value of €24 million so far this year.

John Donegan, brand director, Skoda Ireland said “Skoda has marginally outgrown the market in Ireland by nearly 2.5 per cent thanks to our strong product offering .”
