Knitting and Stitching Show

Kicking off on October 30th, the Knitting and Stitching Show at the RDS, Dublin is a place where old-school traditionalists cross needles with younger talent.

All are hooked on the craft with a firm celebrity following that includes model Cara Delevingne, songbird Lily Allen and movie star Ryan Gosling.

The four-day event includes an exhibition, Entwined Memories, showcasing a piece by textile artist Breda McNelis in which she recreates a childhood family photo, a snap taken on a Sunday drive to Slane.
